Nazi Kivutha is also the chair of the County First Ladies Association
As chairperson for the County First Ladies Association of Kenya, she conveyed that she had led all county First Ladies to advocate for Mrs Kenyatta's Beyond Zero Campaign.
Nazi spoke during the launch of the Makueni Mother and Child Hospital in Wote, where First Lady Margaret was the chief guest.
"As the CFLA, we look up to you and we are proud of your good works.
"Here in Makueni and all over the country, you know that the county first ladies are the patrons of the Beyond Zero campaign.
"You gave us that responsibility and we have been able to make sure the mobile clinics are working," Mrs Kivutha explained.
Rarely seen First Ladies
The event was also graced by a number of the county first ladies including Jane Wa Iria (Murang'a), Pricilla Oparanya (Kakamega), Sheila Sang (Nandi), Wato Kuti (Isiolo), Margaret Nanok (Turkana), Anne Kimemia (Nyandarua), Dorothy Nyong'o (Kisumu), Christine Mvurya (Kwale), Sarah Tunai (Narok) and Stella Samboja (Taita Taveta).
Mrs Nyong'o took the chance to elaborate on her shared history with Nazi long before politics reunited them.
"I bring you greetings from His Excellency the governor of Kisumu county Anyang' Nyong'o.
"The Kibwanas and ourselves go way back a long way when we were neighbours raising little children in the 80s.
"We are proud of the work that they are doing ad they have been an example for the rest of the country, We pray for blessings on all the work that they do," Dorothy narrated.
