Muthama sends important warning to NASA leaders
Muthama has spoken
Speaking during a press conference on Thursday Mr. Muthama castigated leaders who have been insulting Mr. Musyoka after skipping the swearing-in of NASA leader Raila Odinga as the People’s President.
The former Senator accused those insulting Mr. Kalonzo to be acting for the benefit of President Uhuru Kenyatta-led Jubilee Party.
“If there is anybody insulting because he has been sent by Jubilee, they should realize that NASA is bigger than one person. This is especially directed to those abusing Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka,” he said.

This he said days after a section of Opposition leaders claimed that self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general Miguna, who is on record describing Mr. Musyoka as a coward for snubbing the swearing-in ceremony, to be working for Jubilee.
NASA is united
At the same time, Mr. Muthama insisted that NASA was united front dismissing reports that the affiliate parties were planning to breakaway.
He implored the leadership of NASA to issue a statement emphasizing on its unity.
“We are waiting for our Principals to issue a statement and we as the leadership are actually for demanding it," Muthama said.
Muthama also spoke on the swearing-in of Mr Musyoka as the People's Deputy President stating that it should not be done in a hurry. He highlighted that the oath ceremony will only be conducted if there is need for it.
"If need be Kalonzo will be sworn-in at an appropriate time hat will be decided by NASA. Nothing has changed and we are still on course," he noted.
