Au envoy Raila Odinga told Deputy President William Ruto to demand answers from President Uhuru Kenyatta if he believes he is a target of the graft war.

The ODM leader who declined to go into detail about his war of words with Ruto said any links to corruption on Ruto were in effect tainting the presidency.

He said Ruto is the second highest authority in the land and should come out and explain why he is afraid of the graft war.

DCI and the DPP to hasten the probes

I don’t want to talk about Ruto. If he feels that he is being targeted by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), then he should ask the President,” Raila said.

He spoke this on Monday during a meeting with a section of Rift Valley leaders at his Capitol Hill office.

Raila also asked the DCI and the DPP to hasten the probes and prosecutions stating that graft was like cancer that must be dealt with, although within the confines of the law.
