The journalist took a jibe at the television industry in Kenya highlighting that there were no fresh ideas being initiated highlighting that it was only a copy cat business.

"Kenya idea of TV innovation is monkey see monkey do. We do something successful everybody else tries to do it, So I am done trying to give people ideas," he said.

Madowo hinted at starting something different show on NTV which nobody else is doing in Kenya.

"I am gonna try and maybe on a different night on Television try something else so that all other people may copy," he mentioned

Apart from this, Madowo noted that because of the countless engagements he has which has seen him travel out of the country, he has not been able to give the show his all.
