The sports category has moved to a new website.

The blogger confirmed that he was facing four charges filled by Sonko, Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru, National Cohesion and Integration Commission, and Kenya Power MD Ken Tarus who are the complainants.

According to a police source, the suspect has been denied police bond and will face series of charges.

Away from the charges, Nyakundi  who has nicknamed himself the ‘boy child president’ is  ‘infamously’ known for his bare knuckle posts attacking women and calling them all manner of unsavory names.

Through several Facebook posts and tweets the blogger who has a huge following posts expletive texts against women in what he sees as fighting for the boy child in a society filled with angry feminist out to undress the boy child to clothe the girl child.

Business Insider SSA recently had a chat with Rita Mutheu , a vocal gender activist famous for her role in organizing one of Kenya’s most successful campaigns #Mydressmychoice about what she thinks about the blogger and why they are not fighting for men rights with the same vigour as women rights.

Rita says she would love to fight for the boychild and has actually done so in the past but the situation is made no easier by men themselves and even worsened by politicans.

“Do you know how difficult it is to find a man who is willing to stand up and say I was beaten by my spouse? That  I was raped? It is not that they are not there it is impossible to find them why? It is because of the stigma. Who starts laughing when you hear a man has been beaten? Men,  you go to social media and create these funny memes, you laughed about it and worse of all  politicians pick pick it up and run with it to public rallies, when for instance Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula was allegedly  beaten up by the wife what did the Deputy President William Ruto say?  He is a popular politician with a huge following in the country  so you see the kind of negative impact they have against fighting for the boy child and men’s right in general?” Said the happily married mother of two.

About Cyprian and his cabal of cheer leaders, Rita who is the co-founder of  HerVoice,  a non-governmental organization that seeks to end Gender Based Violence by influencing behavioural change by instilling values to promote positive masculinity thinks he is losing the plot and in essence not really helping the boy child as he purports.

“Cyprian should use that platform (social media) to advocate for the rights of the boy child and not use it to castigate the girl child because it beats the whole point. What is he doing about it? he is trying to paint a picture that a successful woman is a bad thing and somebody to be avoided, he has a platform but he is not using it the way it is supposed to be used and which will be beneficial to the boy child according to me. Don’t just attack the woman rather provide solutions, the woman has done nothing wrong it is just that we fight for what we believe in with more conviction ,if we see something wrong trust you me we are going to fight it tooth and nail because we have been marginalized for so long and we needed to come out strong, we don’t want to go back where we were, where a woman was seen but not heard. So he should use this space to preach positive masculinity and that way he can even get the women support"
