According to a Tanzanian media outlet, the pop star has reported to music regulator board popularly known as BASATA offices.

Diamond was accompanied by his manager Sallam SK and WCB signee Harmonize.

According to an insider, the “African beauty’ was called to be reminded a few ethical issues in regards to his music.

The bongo star was arrested yesterday after a ratchet footage that he shared went viral. In the video he kissed an identified Caucasian woman while shirtless. He also cuddled with his baby mama Hamisa Mobeto.

The video got widely criticized by online users who thought that Diamond’s move was unnecessary.

He captioned a video, ‘Ukiachwa achika’ which was a jab that was clearly directed to his ex-lover Zari Hassan.

The issue was raised in Tanzanian parliament and the Minister of Information, Culture and Arts Harrison Mwakyembe disclosed that Diamond was behind bars.

While speaking in parliament, Harrison there are artists who practice hooliganism online and he said the law will catch up with them.

He further cautioned the youth. The minister said that the Internet is not a place to air nasty content which is prohibited by the law adding that the country needs to preserve its cultural values for future generations.

Not long ago the singer was involved in a war of words with the assistant minister over the ban of his songs; Halleluyah and Waka. Their bone of contention rose after the government made an announcement that touched on Diamond just before he launched his album ‘A boy from Tandale’.
