Betty Kyallo’s sister follows in the footsteps of her famous sister

And aside from sharing in looks and blood, there is something else the two lovely sister share, a business acumen.

Mercy Kyallo recently followed in the footsteps of her big sister and established her own business. Mercy is now running her own leather workshop called ‘Yallo’ where she handcrafts and sells her leather bags.

Speaking to KBC about her new venture, Mercy said “It’s been a one of a kind learning experience that has taught me to accept guidance and correction from other people in business. Sometimes I take a step back and let other people whom I trust teach me. This is different for me because, in my previous career in advertising, we were the consultants who gave expert advice but now, I am the student. I have been taught that in business, you are supposed to anticipate and satisfy your client’s needs and that keeps me up at night. It’s been challenging but it has definitely made me better.”

But that is not the only achievement Mercy has had this year, over the weekend, she graduated from Daystar University.
