Police are hunting down a dangerous gang which robbed a man Sh300,000 outside Barclays Bank of Kenya along Nairobi’s Mama Ngina Street, minutes after he withdrew the cash.

The thugs are said to have bundled the victim into a waiting vehicle and sped off towards Upper Hill Area, and dumbed him.

The man had withdrawn the money from the bank and was walking home when men posing as police officers struck, and abducted him.

Police believe such crimes are committed through collusion between the bank officials and the thugs.
