Africa’s youngest Billionaire Mohammed ‘Mo’ Dewji has been kidnapped in Tanzania.

Reports reaching Pulselive.co.ke indicate that the Tanzanian businessman was kidnapped on Thursday morning as he walked into a gym.

According Dar es Salaam police boss Lazurus Mambosasa, Mr. Dewji was abducted by two people who were foreigners at Oyster Bay in Dar es Salaam, while on his way to Colosseum Gym.

The police boss mentioned that a search operation for the business man had been initiated adding that road blocks had been erected to ensure the perpetrators don’t leave the country.

Eye witnesses said that the kidnappers who had their faces covered, shot in the air before they grabbed the businessman and took off with him.

Mohammed Dweji is a billionaire businessman, philanthropist and a former politician. He is also the president and owner of MeTL Group, a multi-national company founded by his father.
