Yvonne Okwara’s powerful statement months after joining Citizen TV

Ms Okwara anchors the 9pm news every Thursday

Through her Instagram, Ms Okwara has disclosed how her loyalty is never grounded on any TV station as she always focuses on professionalism no matter who she is working for.

“They say, the only constant in life is change! I'm enjoying this new chapter in my career! My loyalty is not to any TV station. It is to my values and what I bring to the table. Powerful journalism that asks the tough questions, speaks truth to power. Providing a platform where the powerful and the powerless can engage! That is what I hope my legacy will be. I hope you will take this journey with me, no matter where I go!” shared Yvonne Okwara
