Mudavadi forced to flee after rowdy youth attacked and stoned his convoy in Kibra

Musalia Mudavadi was forced to flee after his convoy was attacked and stoned by youth in Kibra.

The Amani National Congress (ANC)party leader was accosted by the youth in Sarangombe area of Kibra constituency while campaigning for the party’s candidate in the 07 November 2019 by-election in Kibra, Eliud Owalo .

Party Secretary General Barack Muluka who was present during the fracas condemned the violence meted on them by the youth who he alleged were ODM supporters.

Muluka was quoted by a section of the press confirming that "We (ANC) were holding our rally at Sarangombe when we were stoned by the youth. We don't believe in violence. We restrained our young people.

"We were able to leave the area and went to Laini Saba area where we continued with our campaigns," he stated over the phone.

He stated that ANC restrained its youthful supporters to avoid a confrontation and left the area for Laini Saba where they continued with the campaigns for the party’s candidate, Eliud Owalo.

Muluka further stated that the party would take action against the perpetrators of the violence through legal means.
