Embattled former Senate Minority leader and NASA Co-principal Moses Wetangula has made a major announcement, ahead of the expected NASA principals retreat with ODM senators.
“I shall and will not participate in that retreat because I will be subjecting myself to a goat walking into a court of hyenas to be tried,” said Wetangula.
He added that he will not take up the position of minority leader even if it was offered to him by opposition leader Raila Odinga himself.
The NASA Summit on Thursday held a meeting with ODM senators to discuss issues surrounding his ouster but they were unable to reach a conclusion which prompted NASA leader Raila Odinga settle on going for a retreat to discuss the issues after 14 days.
Moses Wetangula’s announcement comes a day after Siaya senator James Orengo said he would not let go of the senate Minority leader position after he was unanimously elected by ODM senators.
