Wife kills husband and her two kids in Roysambu

Mother strangles her children to death

Wife kills husband and two kids in Nairobi estate

A middle-aged woman from Thome Estate in Roysambu, Nairobi County on Monday afternoon killed her husband and her two children.

Police believe the woman stabbed her husband in the back and strangled her 3-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son before committing suicide over reasons police are yet to know.

The woman fatally stabbed her husband in the back and, thereafter, strangled her young children.

Kasarani Deputy OCPD, Catherine Ringera, stated that the woman hanged herself after killing her family.

Blood stained knife and axe

Police said they will dig deeper into the matter to establish whether other people were involved in the deaths.

Police recovered a blood-stained kitchen knife and an axe at the scene.

Neighbours claimed the woman often assaulted her husband when they had wrangles.

The woman allegedly tried to clean the house and murder weapons before resorting to end her own life, police say.
