Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has been the topic of discussion throughout the week.
Babu hit headlines on Sunday night after hurling abusive words towards President Uhuru Kenyatta and his mother Mama Ngina Kenyatta.
Speaking during a political rally in Kawangware, he called Kenyatta mtoto wa mbwa which in English loosely translates to ‘son of a bitch’.

This sparked outrage among Kenyans with President Kenyatta's supporters castigating the newly elected MP and demanding for his arrest.
On Monday, the Jubilee followers took to the streets blocking the Thika Super Highway in a show of solidarity with the Head of State.
Nairobi Women Rep Esther Passaris was among those in the Opposition who criticized the MP.
Monday evening, the lawmaker was arrested and taken to Pangani Police Station where he spent the night.
On Tuesday, the legislator was taken to court and charged with subversion which includes supporting acts that undermine the security of Kenya; incitement to violence; support for people who wish to act in an unlawful manner; among other things.
This is stipulated in Section 77 of the Penal Code in which if found guilty the MP could spend seven years in jail.
His bond ruling was postponed to Wednesday, hence, he spent another night behind bars, this time at Kileleshwa Police Station.
The following day, Babu appeared before Milimani Law Courts where Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi ruled that there was no ground to continue holding Babu.
The former University of Nairobi student leader was freed on a Sh500,000 bond and two sureties worth Sh1 million each.
Minutes after his release, flying squad officer descended upon Babu outside Milimani Law Courts and drove him away.
His supporters, who were celebrating his release, went into a frenzy and started protesting. The officers responded by lobbing teargas to disperse the rowdy crowd.
He was transferred to Pangani Police Station where he spent the third night in police custody.
Babu’s second arrest remained a mystery until Thursday when he was before Kibra Law Courts where the reason behind his arrest was established.
According to the charge sheet, the MP was accused of causing grievous harm to a voter during the August 8 General Election.
Babu denied the charges and told the court that officers allowed strangers in his cell, including street children who harassed and tortured him throughout Wednesday night.

While awaiting his bond ruling University of Nairobi and Technical University of Kenya students took to the streets demanding his immediate release.
The Law Society of Kenya (LSK) also condemned the police for apprehending Babu noting that it was done unlawfully.
He was later released and celebration broke out in Kibera.
The legislator proceeded to hold a rally in the area where he sent a warning message to President Kenyatta.
