Zawadi Mudibo appointed BBC Business Editor for Africa

British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Africa has appointed journalist Zawadi Mudibo as their new Business Editor for Africa.

His appointment was announced by the BBC Programmes Editor Newton Ndebu.

Mr Mudibo who formerly worked for K24 TV as business news anchor will take over from Larry Madowo, who moved to the United States, and currently works as BBC Correspondent in America.

Prior to his confirmation, Zawadi Mudibo who was poached by Madowo in efforts to strengthen BBC Africa business team, has been acting Business Editor for Africa.

Diana Marua on dating Multiple men for money before meeting Bahati

Diana Marua, wife to singer Kevin Bahati has for the first time disclosed that she used to date multiple men for money, before meeting the singer.

The mother of three said she did that because she lacked in all of her childhood life, and all she wanted was to live a good life.

This led her into dating different men, who all paid for different things in her life, including; shopping, rent, another bought her clothes, as well as other things.

“My life has not been rosy and I’ve done some things that I’m not proud of to say but it was my life, it’s in the past. I used to date guys for money at some point in my life because I lacked the whole of my life to a point where all I wanted was a good life. All I wanted was to live well. She went on to reveal that at one point she even dated a married man, whom she really liked, but the man outrightly told her that he could not ditch his wife for Diana.

“At some point I was even a side chic to a married guy and let me tell you I liked that guy sana and I remember at some point aliniambia Dee I will not lie to you that I’m going to leave my wife for you, but if you want this to work and you want us to settle down, all I can promise you is that I’m going to get you a car, and a house all under your name and akaniuliza unataka kuwa na Watoto wangapi akaniambia I cant give you three kids, I can give you one and I was okay,” said Diana.

Maureen Waititu showoff her new Home

Vlogger Maureen Waititu has shared exquisite photos of her new home days moving out of her baby daddy’s house and indeed she has a beautiful house.

The mother of two put up the photos on her Instagram page, appreciating the people who made her moving and settling down smooth, as well as those who took care of her interior.

Ripser Faith set to undergo liposuction surgery over her weight

Socialite and former Nairobi Diaries actress Risper Faith has disclosed that she has for a long time been struggling with weight, and that she does not feel beautiful anymore.

In an emotional video she shared on YouTube, the mother of one said that after marriage everything changed. She mentioned that she was used to a small body, and she has been struggling with weight for about 2 years.

“I remember very well, after giving birth I weighed myself I was about 100Kgs, but over 22 months after giving birth, I’m around 116Kgs. Surprisingly my body is just growing and growing. I don’t feel beautiful anymore, I don’t feel myself anymore,” she said.

Risper Faith said that the struggle with weight has always had her moody, and she always stays indoors, only going out when she has to, because she is not confident in her body.

“Right now nimelose shape hata nakaa tu kama mtungi ya Keg. I’m just there, I’m even scared of making love to my husband because I feel like I’m not beautiful enough, and maybe he sees me in a different way right now. I don’t know.

So, I’ve been thinking of doing the liposuction. I just want to go for surgery, they remove all the fats in my body and let me be,” said Risper Faith.

She added; “I don’t know how I’m going to tell my husband because this is a decision, we both need to make and it involves a lot of things and I just hope and pray that he will accept and support my decision because at the end of the day, its about me. I’m a girl, I want to feel sexy, I want to feel beautiful, I want to feel myself. In this house there are so many mirrors you walk around and you just look at yourself in the mirror and you just don’t like what you see in the mirror.”

Kabi WaJesus claps back at trolls claiming he hired his new Audi

YouTuber Peter Kabi alias Kabi WaJesus has hit back at critics claiming that he hired his new Audi for showoff.

In a post seen by Pulse Live, Kabi noted that just because he is from Kayole it doesn’t mean that he can’t afford to buy a decent car.

He went on to remind his fans that, sometimes you might not have the best background story, but God can turn around things for the better in the future.

Kenya’s Eugene Asira stuns Judges at The Voice of Germany with H_art the Band’s Uliza Kiatu

Germany based Kenyan Singer Eugene Asira stunned judges at the The Voice of Germany reality show with a rendition of H_art the band’s Uliza Kiatu song.

In a video seen by Pulse Live, Asira sings his heart out, leaving judges and the audience on their feet as they cheer him on for a job well done.

Asira took part in the Blind Audition where one performs while the Judges are facing the opposite direction and if you manage to impress them and they turn around to face the stage it means you have passed the Audition. Eugene did exactly that and all the 4 judges gave him the green light plus a standing ovation for his extra-ordinary talent.

Asira stays in Germany with his wife Susanne Asira and together they have one child.

Rapper Professor Jay loses Parliamentary Seat

Renowned Tanzanian rapper turned politician Joseph Haule alias Professor Jay has failed to reclaim his Mikumi parliamentary seat.

Professor Jay who was defending the Mikumi Constituency seat on a Chadema ticket was defeated by Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) candidate Dennis Lazaro, who garnered 31,411 (62.7%) while Jay had 17,375 votes.

“Msimamizi wa Uchaguzi Jimbo la Mikumi, amemtangaza Dennis Lazaro wa CCM kushinda kiti cha ubunge akipata kura 31,411 (62.7%) dhidi ya Joseph Haule wa CHADEMA. Pia kwa mujibu wa msimamizi wa uchaguzi katika jimbo hilo, CCM imeshinda udiwani katika kata zote 40,” reads an update on Mikumi’s Parliamentary Election.

On the other hand, Rapper Hamis Mwijuma aka Mwana FA has been declared the winner in Muhenza Constituency on a CCM ticket. Mwana FA got 47, 578 votes against Chadema’s Yosepher Komba who had 12, 038 votes, ACT Wazalendo’s candidate Jamila Ali came in third with 1, 223.

Other famous personalities who have been elected in the just concluded Tanzania General Election Include; Diamond Platnumz Managers Babu Tale (Morogoro Vijijini) and Mkubwa Fella who was elected for the second term as the councilor for Kilungule.
