Emotional Uhuru Kenyatta accuses Supreme Court of dictatorship

The President finally responded to the reading of verdicts

President Kenyatta delivered a rather emotional address at State House where he met leaders from North Eastern region.

The Jubilee Presidential candidate lamented that the Judiciary was turning Kenya into a dictatorship where  a few judges can overturn the popular will of the people.

"We are seeing dictatorship in Kenya. It a shocker when someone says numbers do not matter, its the processes.  Someone just decides to take Kenyans to the ballot again. Is this democracy?" the head of state remarked.

Kenyatta was responding to part of the ruling read by Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu which stated that the process used in arriving at election results had to be credible.

A visibly disappointed Jubilee leader stated that the Judiciary was lucky to have a President who was law-abiding, noting that Kenya would have been divided in other circumstances.

"The Judiciary is lucky because they are dealing with a Humble, Cool, law abiding, and a Peaceful President!" Kenyatta added.

The Jubilee Presidential candidate added that he was ready to participate in the repeat elections on any date set by the IEBC.
