The simple diet that can increase your chances of getting pregnant
How to boost your fertility
A report published by Human Reproduction Journal indicated that women who adhere to the Mediterranean diet were more likely to get pregnant if they had undergone in-vitro fertilization.
IVF is often a last resort for women who are having trouble conceiving.
The Mediterranean diet
Women who followed the diet six months before receiving IVF treatment had a 65-68% greater chance of getting a successful pregnancy.
This was more noticeable in women under the age of 35.
Apart from boosting fertility, the diet also reduces risk of heart disease, cholesterol and helps prevent hypertension, cancer, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.
