Mike Johnson Says He's Done "Kissing And Telling" After Demi Lovato Romance

During Mike's season of The Bachelorette, Demi cheered him on as he competed for pageant queen Hannah Brown's heart, but when the cameras stopped rolling, he and the "Confident" singer ended up on a date together in L.A. Later on a podcast, Mike revealed that Demi was a good kisser.

In a video interview for Us Weekly, however, Mike is singing a different tune. The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise alum revealed that he's done dating in the public eye, for now. Instead, he wants to "keep it 100 percent" to himself going forward.

"I truly dont like speaking on certain things. Im getting in trouble with my homeboys right now about it. Im learning. Im still a human being," he said in the interview. "Im not perfect. Ive messed up in the past. They say geniuses learn from the mistakes of others and intelligent people learn from their own mistakes. Im not a genius. I want to be intelligent. Therefore, I messed up and Im going to try not to let it happen again."

Mike also revealed that his mother found out "certain things" through the media, but didn't specify what he meant.

All that said, Mike gave a non-answer when asked about his current relationship status with the popstar, though he confirmed that he "definitely" is on good terms with her."I will say this, that Demi is amazing," Mike replied. "I think that shes a beautiful individual inside and out."

Perhaps ironically, Mike's statement about keeping his relationships private comes on the heels of Monday morning's edition of Strahan, Sara & Keke during which he asked out actress Keke Palmer on national television. (Keke's response? She covered her face with her interview cards, tried to move on to the next question, and then finally said, "I'm at work!"). So, maybe Mike just hadn't started his new "no kissing and telling" policy?
