Kirinyaga Deputy Governor ranked number 2

Kirinyaga Deputy Governor Peter Ndambiri has been ranked second in the list of top Google searches made in Kenya during the month of April.

Ndambiri attracted national attention after he reportedly fell victim to blackmailers who recorded him as he engaged in sexual activity reportedly with a married woman.

Media mogul S.K Macharia's son John Gichia Macharia was also among the most searched Kenyans - coming in third in the list of Google Searches.

Footballer of the year

In what could be another confirmation of the rising fanaticism in English Football among Kenyans, Egyptian footballer Mo Salah, who was named Footballer of the Year by the Football Writers’ Association and has made history by becoming the first African player ever to collect the accolade.

The only other Kenyan to feature in the top ten list was Kenneth Matiba whose cremation was in position six in the list of top searches.
