Mr Odinga had gone to convey his condolences to the former President following the passing of his son Jonathan Moi.
The ex-Prime Minister was away from the country in China when the late Jonathan succumbed to pancreatic cancer and as such was not able to attend the funeral or join the family for meetings.

"Visited retired President Daniel Arap Moi at his Kabarak home to condole with him following the recent passing of his son Jonathan.
"We continue to wish strength to the former President and his family. May God grant them peace during this trying time," the former PM posted.
Benji Ndolo's annoying Question
Political analyst Beniji Ndolo responded to the post with a question that annoyed some of the AU special envoy's followers.
The analyst posed: "Did you ask him why he jailed you for so many years?"

The question elicited strong comments from Mr Odinga's followers some of who referred to the analyst's question as "juvenile".
