Graduating from university is a big milestone.

And, for some campuses, it’s almost graduation season. The best part about graduation is wearing your gown and graduation cap, getting your degree, throwing your cap in the air and celebrating that milestone.

While it’s all pomp and color, getting the grad outfit right for naturalistas can be a tad bit hard especially the grad hat. Say you have braids, crochet hair or puffy natural hair…sister guuurl, ain’t no way that cap will fit. The best hairstyle for a graduation cap is either a wig, straightened or relaxed hair. What you will need:

-Safety pin

-Sellotape

-Arch shaped head band

Instructions:

1. Fix the arch shaped head band with sellotape inside the grad cap.

2. Then fold the hat fabric over the head band and secure it with a safety pin.

3. Wear the head band that's now attached to the hat on your head and voila! You’re graduation ready.
