When your best friend is also your bump mate

Pregnancy is beautiful, but even more beautiful when you get to experience it with two of your friends.

That's right, a group of three Kenyan friends, Happiness, Lydia and Pamela decided to have a joint maternity shoot to celebrate their pregnancy and friendship. The shoot, taken by the very talented Kenny of Kenny's Photography did not fall short of perfection. The ladies, clad in matching turquoise form-fitting dresses accessorized with neck scarves were captured in their element. The shoot encompassed different photo sessions; the three friends together, posing and cutting the cake that had a blue and pink shoe - an indication of the genders they were expecting and another session where they were joined by their families and friends.

Normally, maternity shoots are meant to act as a memorabilia of your pregnancy days. I love the idea of three friends sharing their pregnancy journey together. That way, you have some sense of belonging and someone to lean on to. Kenny definitely did an outstanding job on the shoot and speaking exclusively to Pulse Live, he was certain that this was one of his most fun shoots yet and felt honored to have captured this beautiful moment that doesn't happen too often - friends who become bump mates.
