Wanna remember your night out?

The worst thing about getting totally wasted is the hangover that accompanies it. Sometimes, becoming shitfaced is so bad that you forget what you did during that party or that bar.

Increasing your tolerance for alcohol may not necessarily be possible as it has to do with metabolism.

Here are a few tricks to remain lucid on a drunken night out.

1. Eat

Never drink on an empty stomach. This causes the alcohol to be broken down faster and it makes you get drunk even faster.

2. Take water

With nearly every drink, make sure you hydrate. While this will cause you to pee alot, it will also keep you sober for longer.

3. Watch your cues

Some people can tell when they're about to get into drunk town. They become inactive, the become talkative, their lips and face loses feeling, they suddenly become in need of human contact or they feel like they can do anything. When you feel like this, take a break from the drinking. Take lots of water relative to how much alcohol you consumed.

4. Crush ice

Ask for drinks that come with ice. Between sips, crush some ice with your teeth. This helps keep you aware and hydrated.

5. Take alcohol with high yeast content
