The Independence Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta as the president elect.

IEBC Chairman Chebukati Wafula on Monday declared President Uhuru the winner with 7,339,228 votes amount to 98.2% of the total number of votes.
