Ike, whose address was not provided, is facing a two-count charge of receiving stolen property and conspiracy.
The defendant, however, entered a not guilty plea.
The Prosecutor, Insp Victor Eruada, told the court that the accused and others still at large committed the offences on April 25, at Karaole Estate, Ogba, in Lagos.
According to him, the defendant received the stolen N13,500 knowing same to have been stolen.
Eruada said that Ike received the amount from two boys who stole it from the woman.
The offences, the prosecutor said, contravened Sections 285 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 (Revised).
The Magistrate, Mrs G.O. Anifowoshe, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N10, 000, with one surety in like sum.
She said that the sureties must be relatives of the defendant, gainfully employed and should also show evidence of tax payment to the Lagos State Government.
Anifowoshe adjourned the case until May 24, for mention.
