The announcement was made on Monday by Transport CS James Macharia who warned PSV's against ignoring the measures the government has put in place to curb covid-19.
Speaking at Railways station, CS Macharia called on Kenyans to observe the stipulated measures in order to curb the spread of coronavirus.
On Sunday, President Uhuru Kenyatta announced a travel ban restricting entry into Kenya for anyone coming from any country with reported coronavirus cases.

Kenya confirmed two more coronavirus cases after the first one that was recorded on Friday, March 13.
President Kenyatta , in his directive also urged Kenyans to avoid crowded places and congestion in public transport where possible.
Some public service vehicles in Nairobi have started implementing the order to have hand sanitisers for use by the passengers.
