The head of state appointed Justice Kihara Kariuki to take over as Independent Kenya's seventh Attorney General.
Former Labour Cabinet Secretary Kazungu Kambi also benefit in the new phase of appointments made by President Kenyatta.
Kambi, who resigned under a cloud of corruption allegations, will now chair the Coast Development Authority.
Other Jubilee-allied operatives who benefited from the appointment included former Karachuonyo MP James Rege who will now chair the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company.
