Mbita MP trolled over receding hairline and strange weave after skipping parliament to make hair (Photos)

There is never a dull moment where Millie Odhiambo is involved and she makes even the most tedious and boring things like going to the salon and parliamentary sessions seem interesting.

Millie Odhiambo

“Who does Uhuru think he is, he is only president because he stole elections! He does not even compare to me leave alone Raila. MUSHENZI!” she screamed at the journalists’ cameras.

“He can take me to court whenever he wants, it is my opinion, and my right to expression, Uhuru Kenyatta is extremely stupid!” She yelled in an incident that was the talk of the country for weeks. Because never before has anyone come that hard and recklessly at a Kenyan president like Millie did, an incident that led to charges getting pressed for making the demeaning remarks against the presidency.

Despite her inflammatory potty mouth, Millie proved that she was smart by avoiding arrest, posting an anticipatory bail and even sworn a further affidavit to shield herself from prosecution.

But despite the possibility of arrest or being ‘made to disappear’, Millie remains largely unrepentant and to some extent arrogant as she refused to attend parliamentary proceedings because she was doing her hair.

“I had better things to do today, like do my hair, that is why I was not in Parliament” Millie told NTV.

A statement that had that drew people to her strange hairstyle and they went on to lambast her for it with some saying that due to her conduct, she will have all the time in the world to make her hair once voted out of parliament.

Others thought her hair loss was due to cancer but it looks more like traction alopecia - hair loss caused by the use of weaves and braids that are too tight.

Anyhow, here are the reactions to the MP's new hair:

Bridget Kay: She has no hair to discuss. She should not call attention to something nonexistent.

I have no legs worth mentioning, mine are kikuyu hockey sticks. I shouldn't brag about how I ignored a national event to take them for waxing.

People will trash them for the hockey sticks they are.

Having said that, I do acknowledge that she is a beautiful Suba diva.

Nessy Duncans: Hapana, she needs to change her hair dresser. Her hairdresser is not creative, actually s/he must be her enemy. How could s/he do this to her and take payment? Achunguzwe, s/he could be behind her declining hairline. There are hairstyles that would be much suited for her hairline.
