“I've been in the industry for a while, but there are boundaries you try to push when you're alone and you just see the sky being so far. And then Tusker came in between the sky and Ceci, and I was like, 'That's the sky, let me show you!' They held my hand, and whoop, up to the sky, that's what Tusker did,” Nexters ‘Volume’ mentee Ceci Wanza shared.

This is also true in the sports arena where Tusker’s sponsorship has made it possible for the Kenya Lionesses and various Kenyan Olympians to participate in international competitions.

The Tusker Nexters Podcast highlighted a rugby player who left high school, almost immediately participated in the Olympics and is now the Lionesses 7’s Captain, Ms Grace Adhiambo.

“Tusker was the sponsor for our kits during the Tokyo Olympics and as a Lioness, I know that we really need Tusker back as a sponsor,” Grace emphasised.

Her Lionesses 15’s counterpart, Natasha, noted that sponsorship is a real challenge for sportspeople who have to represent their country without necessary support.
