Once you break up with someone, that’s the end of any interaction between the two of you right?

To answer this question, for some people yes, it is but for others, not so much.

If you’re the latter and keep wondering why you can’t seem to shake off your ex, this could be why.

If you were serious about cutting your ex off then you would have made that clear when you broke up. If you don’t feel like you can be friends with them post break up then it would have been wise to let them know then before they start flooding your inbox with messages you don’t want to reply to.

2.The two of you are still lusting for one another

It’s normal to lust after your ex after a break up. You’ve probably heard of many stories of break up sex or experienced it yourself – this could be a good reason why he/she is still hanging around.

3.They are jealous that you have moved on

Your ex may have gotten wind that you have moved on which can be great motivation for them to try and get back into your good books. It’s interesting what jealousy can make people do.

4.They want something from you

And it’s not sex. Maybe you make an extra shilling or are in a top position in the company they would want to work for. What would stop them from reaching out to you and playing a few tricks on your mind to make you believe that they’ve changed for the better? Nothing.

5.They genuinely want you back

Not all exes are bad. There are some that genuinely feel like they want you back and will do everything to make sure they write their wrongs to get back into your good graces.
