Taking photos of your flight could be very dangerous
It's time to clear your timelines.
However, as much as it will get you more likes, taking pictures of your boarding pass for social media could put you in serious danger.
According to KrebsonSecurity, the two-dimensional barcodes found on the pass hold a great deal of information, and the codes printed on airline boarding passes may allow someone to discover more about you, your future travel plans, and your frequent flyer account.
With those two codes and a good data reading app. Criminals can find out so much details about the travelling person. These include his entire account which shows the current flight being taken and any future travel plans booked for the same person.
The barcode can also give your phone number, the person who booked your flight and also change your seat and cancel any future flights.
