Besides enjoying the prestigious 'Senior Counsel' title, these lawyers will now enjoy the special privilege of having their cases heard first when they appear in court or before trial.
They will also reserve the right to seat at the front benches in court whenever they are present.
Some big wigs who did not make the cut include Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi, former National Assembly Speaker Kenneth Marende, former Solicitor General Njee Muturi, veteran lawyer John Khaminwa, LSK President Allan Gichuhi, former LSK President Eric Mutua, Donald Kipkorir, Katwa Kigen, Evans Monari and Thomas Letangule.
