In a statement, NTSA divulged that the license of the three Saccos - Silker Agencies, Kidatho Sacco, and Giwa Sacco - were revoked for not adhering to requirements stipulated in the operations of PSV regulations.
Giwa Sacco operates on the Gikuni-Wangige-Mukui-Gathiga route.
The Transport agency went on to warn the public concerning the deregistration of the matatus belonging to the three Saccos.
According to the regulations issued by NTSA, Saccos are required to own a minimum of 30 serviceable vehicles registered as PSVs, have a code of conduct approved by NTSA, employ of staff which has drivers, comply with labor laws among others.
