The Parents Teachers Association (PTA) of Kirigaraga Girls School have now claimed that a student who last week reported a rape incident at school used a sex toy which harmed her private parts.
Led by the chairman Daniel Mwenda, the team has said that they had investigated the issue and now believe that the rape allegation was not true.
“We have asked our daughters and they have said that it was a lie and the girl wanted to be transferred from the school.

“If it was true, our children would have demonstrated against the act but, as you can see, they are still in class,” the PTA chairman said condemning the girl and her parent as liars who wanted to tarnish the school’s image.
Earlier, a girl at Kirigaraga Girls School had told police that she was waylaid at the school, sexually assaulted, and then forced to recant the story by teachers, something the school has since rubbished.
“It was on Friday at 2 am when I woke up to go to the toilet. I was kidnapped by several people who had covered their faces.
They applied some substance on my nose which made me lose consciousness,” the girl had said.
