The governor states that she has suffered irreparable damage,citing the latest IPSOS Synovate poll that rank her the second most corrupt politician after Deputy President William Ruto.
Kabura identified Waiguru as one of the architects of the scam and alleged that the she helped her register two companies that were used as conduits to fleece the public 790 Million shillings.
The letter dated 23 August 2018 faults the EACC for failing to disclose the results of the investigations to her or to the public, noting that this has given credence to Kabura’s allegations in the explosive dossier that implicated her.

The governor now wants the commission to forward the file on the investigations to the Director of Public prosecutions in seven days.
Waiguru claims that this is her fifth letter to the commission which is yet to act even after receiving the initial four letters.
The scandal saw Waiguru who was then serving as the CS for Devolution step down amidst public outrage.
Although he was never convicted of any crime and was even cleared by the EACC to run for the Kirinyaga County gubernatorial elections which she eventually won, the scandal has left her image badly tainted.
Below is the letter Waiguru addressed to the EACC through her lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi.
