Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi is embroiled in a war of word on Twitter with Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) Babu Owino.

Havi took to the platform to lecture the legislator, stating that he is ashamed to imagine that they went to the same University.

He went on to describe Owino as an 'educated imbecile' who is a danger to the society and the Nation at large.

“Babu Owino makes us who went to school and in particular University of Nairobi, School of Law, Parklands Campus ashamed to imagine that he also went there. An educated imbecile is a danger to the Society and the Nation,” wrote Nelson Havi.

Babu Hits Back

However, in a quick rejoinder, Babu hit back at Havi saying that he (Havi) has always wanted to compare himself to him academically.

“You always want to compare Urself with me Academically but I will confidently tell U that in the intellectual parlance you are a village salad to me. I scored second class upper Division in LLB Law and a First class honors in Actuarial science. Your lips are heavier than your brains.

"Your lips are directly proportional to your brains. They are both thick. Stupidity is not a human right,” reacted Babu Owino.

Havi picked up a fight with Owino after a tweet under his fake Twitter account went viral celebrating the chaos witnessed in Kondele, Kisumu county during deputy President William Ruto’s visit.

“Kondele Defense Forces (KDF) thank you Jeshi la Baba led by Joachim Oketch for the good work done. Baba’s bedroom must be protected from Taka Taka,” reads the tweet from the fake account.

Stoned in Kondele

On Thursday, DP Ruto was forced cut short his speech in Kondele, Kisumu, after a mob hurled rocks at his motorcade.

Later, Police Spokesperson Bruno Shioso said that Ruto had been alerted on rising tensions in the area, and advised to skip the stopover.

On the other hand, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga distanced himself and his party (ODM) from the chaos witnessed in Kondele.

“Mimi sitaki kuingia kwa mambo ya porojo, labda niongee kwa mambo ya ukweli, Ruto ni Mkenya na anaruhusiwa kutembea popote kuuza sera zake.

"Chama chetu, ile Kisumu branch ilitoa taarifa ikasema aruhusiwe Ruto auze sera zake kama mtu yeyote, kusiwe na vurugu yoyote," said Raila Odinga.
