There has been an increase of officers committing suicide which prompted the National Police Service Commission (NPSC) to establish the Counseling and Rehabilitation Centre.

“The commission has established the National Police Service Counselling and Rehabilitation Centre to assist the service in addressing psychosocial stress-related problems affecting the officers,” a statement read.

Pulselive.co.ke contacted police spokesperson Mr Charles Owino but he did not respond on the matter by the time of press.
