Kenya arrests 53 Ugandans, after Museveni's army abducted police officers

Hours after the diplomatic incident, the Kenyan authorities on Tuesday arrested 53 Ugandan illegal immigrants in Busia.

The whereabouts of the three arrested officers, who were also abducted together with four Kenyan fishermen,  remain unknown.

Last week, Kenya arrested 109 Tanzanians over accusations of illegal fishing in Kenya's territorial waters in Shimoni, Kwale County.
