Raila and Joho cannot rule at the same time- Hassan Omar declares at Jubilee rally

“There is no way Hassan Joho and Raila will be in government at the same time!”- Hassan Omar

Last Sunday he officiated his allegiance to Jubilee Party, vowing to help Uhuru win the repeat elections against his former team during a rally held in Serani, Mombasa.

Before this, he was the Wiper Party Secretary General. Mr Omar resigned from his seat citing an interest in furthering his studies, reorganizing his political career while at the same time pursuing justice for his loss to Joho.

Hassan Omar explained that after his loss of the gubernatorial seat to Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho, only the Deputy President William Ruto sought him out to comfort him instead of one of the leaders from his then team the National Super Alliance (NASA).

According to Hassan, Ruto advised him not to give up on politics.

He says that this inspired his decision to switch sides and ensure that Uhuru takes presidency against Raila Odinga.

He said, “There is no way Hassan Joho and Raila will be in government at the same time!”
