Uhuru & Ruto are pretending to be friends - Oscar Sudi

Sudi reaction to Rotich's arrest

President Uhuru Kenyatta & DP William Ruto are pretending to be friends - Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi

Outspoken Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto of engaging in a false public display in friendship when they are engaged in a hostile behind the scenes war.

Sudi, who is also an insider in Ruto’s circle of political allies, responded after the arrest of Treasury CS Henry Rotich in connection with the Kimwarer and Arror dam scandal.

He said the war on corruption had been weaponized to maliciously target Cabinet Secretaries and senior government officials close to the deputy president – specifically mentioning Rotich and Energy CS Charles Keter.

We knew these plans right from the beginning; the plan was to maliciously prosecute those Cabinet Secretaries who are presumed to be allied to DP just to portray DP in bad light. We know that the mission was to end after sacrificing Henry Rotich and Charles Keter. That's why; personally, I don't believe that there is a genuine fight against corruption in Kenya, Sudi stated.

The Jubilee MP went on to accuse Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji of selective prosecution – citing the case of the Ruaraka Land Scandal.

I have asked President Uhuru Kenyatta several times about Ruaraka Land scandal but no one has responded to me yet. Kenyans need to know why CS Matiang'i and his PS Belio Kipsang have not been prosecuted yet the court made a ruling that the payment was irregular."

"Let Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto continue FAKING their 'good' relationship. We are not fools. God is watching all this," the legislator complained.
