They assured their customers that they were committed to providing assistance during such situations.

In a video that has since gone viral, a female customer recorded her Bolt driver who had unzipped his trousers, thus exposing his manhood.

She appeared scared as she asked the driver why he was exposing himself, and she even requested to be dropped off at the next stop.

The customer was in the company of another lady, and she suggested that they alight since their driver was exposing himself.

The driver had no option but to rectify what he had done, and he complied with their request to drop them off immediately.

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) declined to renew Bolt's license, the popular taxi-hailing company, in response to ongoing protests by drivers who allege various violations of transport regulations.

The NTSA stated that they are taking this action due to a significant number of driver complaints, including concerns related to illegal booking fees and high commission charges.

In a formal communication addressed to Bolt, the regulatory authority outlined its decision, explaining that the license renewal process cannot proceed until the various issues raised by drivers and their representatives are adequately addressed and resolved.

The statement also expressed the NTSA's willingness to revisit the renewal request once these concerns have been satisfactorily dealt with.

Among the key concerns raised by Bolt drivers are allegations of excessive commission charges and the imposition of illegal booking fees.

They also claimed that the company is not in full compliance with the Transport Network Companies (TNC), Owners, Drivers, and Passengers Regulation of 2022.

This move by the NTSA represents a significant development in the ongoing challenges between Bolt and its drivers and underscores the importance of adherence to transport regulations in ensuring the welfare and rights of drivers and passengers alike.

Bolt will need to address these concerns to regain regulatory approval, demonstrating the significance of compliance in the ride-hailing industry.
