However Diamond declined to do a Gospel song with the singer, telling Mambo Mseto that “If the collabo is based on a particular denomination, I am a bit sceptical about engaging in it. I would not want to be viewed as mocking a particular religion, or doing a promotion for another.”
Willy Paul’s admiration for Diamond goes overboard as he copies him once again, even Alaine was involved (Photos)
In the past, Willy Paul has expressed his great admiration for Bongo singer Diamond Platnumz and even sought to do collaboration with him, religious differences aside.
However it seems that Willy Paul’s admiration for the Bongo 5 singer stretches past the professional as the singer seemingly wants to be like Diamond through and through.
It seems that Diamond’s style and way of life is really enticing to the impressionable singer who wants to be just like Baba Tiffah and Nillan.
And his way of copying Diamond is rubbing people off the wrong way to a point some people are calling him some derogatory names.
Last year he was trolled for wearing the same kind of clothes with the Bongo singer in the ‘Tiga Wana’ video.
And earlier on he had been criticised for wearing the exact green and white outfit with Diamond in his video with Sauti Sol called ‘Take It Slow’. A look that Diamond had spotted in his ‘Bado' song with Harmonize.
Overhead shots from both videos were eerily similar as demonstrated by the video below:
But what has baffled many is this shot of Willy and Alaine that has an unnerving similarity to Diamond’s photo with Zari and Tiffah.
