Marriage is not an achievement - Njoki Chege blasts Dj Mo

Njoki Chege has not moved on yet despite an apology from DJ Mo

Njoki Chege has now turned her guns to her being a wife material, probably more than Size 8, whom DJ Mo had to take through torturous processes in vetting her suitability.

She has divulged that her plan to have a PHD overtook the desire to even get married.

“I should not do so much with my life so as to scare men away. I was advised by well-meaning people that it is easier to ensnare a man into marriage in my 20s when I am still “young and fresh”and that this would be more difficult in my 30s,” Mrs Chege writes.

She added: "I’m wife material and much more, DJ MO, but I will marry when I want!"

Last week, Njoki penned an article in her column accusing the Gospel Artist of having an awful view on marriage, after the latter had spoken to Pulse Live’s ‘Never Have I Ever’ Facebook show hosted by Carolina Carlz.

"I am no longer afraid to be myself and to pursue my dreams. Do I want to get married at some point? Definitely. However, I will put it off until I feel I am ready, not when society thinks I should be ready. My dreams, my timetable. It is my life, I will marry when I want!" Njoki wrote in her emotional article.

DJ Mo had said that he had to vigorously ‘vet’ Size 8 before they said “I do” to each other something that seemingly didn’t go down well with Mrs Njoki. Njoki now feels that she has intimidated DJ Mo and other men of “similar character, by her success.”

DJ Mo over the week took to all his social media channels to apologize to the single mums for his “undue deeds” which Njoki had highlighted in the widely read article.
