“I would like to tender my resignation as a Board Member of the National Authority for the Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) effective immediately due to personal reasons.

Serving as a NACADA Board Member has been a fulfilling learning experience and deeply appreciate all the cooperation from the Board, management and staff in the campaign against alcohol and drug abuse. Thank you for the privilege to serve Kenyans.”  Read the announcement posted on social media.

He later expressed interest in the Starehe Parliamentary seat where he will be going up against activist Boniface Mwangi, Starehe M.P Maina Kamanda and flashy businessman Steve Mbogo who will be running for the seat under ODM ticket.

However, Jaguar’s campaign trail seems to have been struck by an unexpected catastrophe, the death of one of his voters at Ziwani ward.

As Nation reports, a man was lynched by a youth group mob after he decided to steal and run away with money Jaguar had allegedly given out to be distributed. Infuriated by this, the mob ran after him and beat the man said to be the leader of the youth group to death.

Nairobi Police Boss Japheth Koome announced that the police are looking into the tragic incident with the number of mob justice incidents increasing in Nairobi.
