Edith Kimani shares the ultimate throwback photo on stage with the singer
Known for their green skirts, grey sweaters and white blouses, State House Girls High School located in Nairobi has become a popular public girl’s boarding school not only among the parents but also high-school hopefuls. This is due to their performances in curricular and extracurricular activities.
This school has also contributed greatly to the entertainment and media industry. This is through the likes of musician and actress Size 8, Citizen TV’s political reporter and anchor Jacque Maribe and Toxic the erotic dancer, businesswoman and video vixen.
After studying in Statehouse, Size 8 got a scholarship to join the prestigious Hillcrest High School owned by veteran Politician Kenneth Matiba. It was here where she met Edith Kimani who had also gotten a scholarship to join the school located at the leafy Nairobi suburb of Karen.
Edith got the opportunity due to the success off her drama team in her previous school while Size 8 also got there due to her performance in the arts.
It was there where they got to perform together as Edith Kimani revealed. She shared a photo on stage with Size 8 captioning it “Recognize my acting buddy @size8reborn? This picture was taken in 2009. We were on stage waiting to sing our hearts out in the school production of 'little shop of horrors'. Kweli tumetoka mbali. #TBT"
