Former Kabondo Kasipul MP admitted in hospital following a road accident

One person died after the vehicle of former Kasipul Kabondo MP, Silvance Onyango Osele, rammed into a boda boda rider.

The Wednesday morning accident occurred at Amalemba area in Kakamega Town left the Osele nursing injuries.

Police believe that the driver of the vehicle, lost control resulting in the car rolling over several times.

One dead

Mr Osele, who now works as a director in President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Delivery Unit, was traveling to Kakamega from Kisumu alongside four other passengers in a Toyota Prado when the accident occurred.

The boda boda rider who succumbed to his injuries in the accident was taken to Kakamega County Referral Hospital morgue.

Western region Police Commander, Rashid Yakub, confirmed the incident said the injured were rushed to the same hospital, where they are receiving treatment.
