Three KBC journalists were involved in a grisly accident on Monday night near Molo town.

Reports reaching the Pulselive.co.ke newsdesk indicated that the journalists were admitted at St Josephs hospital in Molo were they were recuperating.
A source who spoke to Pulselive.co.ke stated that the three were among a team of KBC staff who were headed to Nandi for the burial of the mother to the Chief News Editor Graham Kirwa.
Injuries
One of the National broadcaster's News Supervising Editors Nicholas Kigondu suffered severe head injuries and he underwent surgery on Monday night.
The source confirmed that Mr Kigondu had undergone a successful surgery and was currently in a stable condition recuperating at Nakuru PGH where he had been transferred.
The other two journalists were treated and discharged from hospital the same day.
Accidents in the country are said to have been on the rise in the beginning of this year as per the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) survey.
Road accidents
NTSA reported that 184 people had lost their lives in since the beginning of the year, in their January, 2019 report.
This was slightly lower than those who perished by the same date in 2018 in which the number was 212.
Pedestrians remain the most vulnerable road users with 72 of them having been killed.
