Kenyans React after Miguna Miguna tells DP Ruto to Join NRM

Former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna caused an uproar on social media after telling Deputy President William Ruto to join National Resistance Movement (NRM).

Miguna seemed to suggest that President Uhuru Kenyatta had Ruto in the back after announcing his new cabinet.

Miguna advised the DP to return all the public assets he had stolen before joining the resistance movement led by the opposition coalition NASA.

In a series of tweets, the former gubernatorial candidate and former aide to opposition leader Raila Odinga referred to the DP as a pricked drain who does not understand history, adding that he is in the same situation Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, the first vice president of Kenya was in 52 years ago.

He added that the Deputy President should join the National Resistance Movement after President Uhuru Kenyatta allegedly sidelined him on the new Cabinet appointments.
