The party had said that it will not support any candidate taking part in the by-election.

Wiper party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka told the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) to prepare for a bruising battle in the forthcoming Embakasi South by-election slated for April 5.

Kathiani MP Robert Mbui said the rivalry over the seat was causing unnecessary animosity at a time when the country is enjoying relative peace.
