The lovebirds started with a secret traditional wedding in October at an undisclosed location with only close family and friends invited.
After the secret wedding, the First Family announced that they would be holding Itaara ceremony for Jomo and Ngubi on November 12 2016. Itaara ceremony entails welcoming of the soon to be bride into the groom’s family.
A video has emerged showing president Uhuru demonstrate his dancing moves at the Itaara ceremony held at his Ichaweri home in Gatundu South, Kiambu County.
The commander-in-chief was among other guests who joined Jomo and Ngubi at the podium to dance to a fine tune of Gikuyu music.
